Sherlock Homes Group was founded to provide a true alternative to the big real estate firms. After spending some time working for one of WA’s largest real estate firms, our two founders decided that there had to be a better way to do things. They saw firsthand that there was no innovation—a paint-by-numbers, more-is-more approach that didn’t allow room for a more considered method.
So in 2018 they left to forge their own path. It was a bold move, at the time—but big changes take courage. And courage delivers results.
We take a different approach to real estate. We’re pushing to do better for our customers: achieve better outcomes, get you a better price, and ensure a better experience overall. We’re personally owned and operated, so we take a level of responsibility you don’t typically see in real estate. Good enough isn’t good enough: we go the extra step, make the extra phone call, and spend the extra time to get you the results you want to see.
It sounds simple, and maybe it is. But in delivering a truly personal touch, with a better level of care and guidance, and thinking in different ways to approach your property, we’re actively working to reinvent the property industry.

Doing things on purpose means being careful, thoughtful, and considered. It means taking a unique and personalised approach to every property we deal with. It’s about identifying your needs, both for the short and long term, and putting steps in place to achieve your goals.
It’s being clear, direct; being purposeful in everything we do, and leaving nothing to chance.
Property Solved is our original mission statement: to solve our customers’ property problems.
It’s still part of who we are. It’s about what we’ve achieved, how we’ve helped our clients, and the results we’ve delivered. It’s what you’ll feel when we’ve helped you sell, buy, or lease your home.
But that can only take us so far. We’re evolving, and On Purpose sees us looking to the future.
